-
How do I know that the right clinician will be doing the assessment?
All our clinicians are selected to join our team because of their amazing clinical skills and warm compassionate personalities.
We are in the unique position of having clinicians with generalised expertise as well as those who have special interests and experience with mental health, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dementia, complex cases and acquired brain injuries. Additionally, all our clinicians have weekly support from mentors and medical experts in a variety of specialities to ensure the best clinical care for all our clients.
All new referrals are triaged by senior clinicians who will clarify the referral question to ensure the appropriate therapist is assigned to each case. Of course, you can request one of our amazing clinicians too!
-
Is there ongoing support or follow-up after the assessment and report?
If this aligns with your goals and the assessment recommendations, we are more than happy to provide ongoing therapy support.
We also provide support for NDIS plan reviews by calling your support co-ordinator to discuss our reports and even attend reviews if needed. This may be particularly important for clients with complex needs.
-
Do you charge for travel?
Yes, we charge in line with the latest NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Support Catalogue. For Private Funding and Home Care Packages we charge per kilometre or a fixed fee depending on geographic location (a fee schedule is available on request).
However, we do our very best to keep the travel costs to an absolute minimum to ensure that most of the funding goes to important clinical work!
