Who Can Join?
If you are:
65 or over
Have fallen in the past 12 months or are concerned about falling
Are able to walk independently, with or without a stick
Live in the community (Not residential aged care)
Are cognitively intact (e.g. The absence of dementia or brain injury)
Do not have a progressive neurological condition

The program runs one day per week, over 7 weeks.
The session running time is 2 hours.
Cognitive Stimulation Therapy
for people with dementia
What You Will Learn
Reminiscence and Memory Recall: Sharing life experiences and stories.
Orientation: Gently connecting to time, place and current events.
Problem-solving and Decision-making: Encouraging flexible and practical thinking.
Language and Word Games: Promoting conversation and communication.
Creative and Physical Activities: Simulating the senses and self-expression.
Social connection and Confidence: Helping participants build friendships and feel more engaged.
Who Can Join?
The program runs two sessions per week, over 7 weeks.
The session running time is 1 hour.
CST is designed for:
People with mild to moderate dementia or memory difficulties
Those who enjoy conversation, creativity and group activities
People living in the community, residential care or attending day centres
Family members and carers are also encouraged to learn about the program and its benefits
